Do you remember the days when you couldn't wait for summer, so you could set up a Kool-aid stand?
today while I helped Alex and Kirsti work on one of their projects for young women's inside, Bailee, Madison, Harrisen and their friend Cynthia had fun selling Kool-aid in the front yard.
Their first two costumers were, of course, none other than Dad and Mom. Just look at the excitement on Harrisen's face! After a while a few of the neighbors came over and bought some too.
But they all had great fun yelling "Yummy! Ice cold kool-aid 5 cents a cup'', until their throats were so dry that they had to take a drink then they would start yelling again.
I think they drank more than they sold, but that's pretty normal from what I remember.

I love that your kids did this. Next time they do this, will you call me so I can come over and buy some Kool-Aid from them? They are just too cute!:)
FIVE CENTS? that's a deal man! When I was a kid, we sold it for TWENTY-FIVE...then we'd lower to 10 the longer the ice melted! We had one everyday, or so my memory likes to recall. I LOVED koolaid stands. We'd take the whole...$4 we'd make...and walk up to the local diner/convenient store and get cheese fries. haha those were awesome days!

Amen to Hilary. I am so sad I missed it! I would have loved to support their cause and drank their cold beverages.
