When we plant the garden in the spring I always hope I'll get help when it comes to the weeding and harvesting of the garden. The kids are pretty good about weeding when I assign it to them. As long as I tell them they can't do anything else until it is done. They will even go and get things out of it if I ask them to. But imagine how happy it made me feel when I looked out the window to check on the kids that were in the back yard (being way too quiet for me not to wonder what was up) and this is what I saw.... Bailee and Harrisen (if you can't tell who it is) enjoying fresh food straight out of the ground. Carrots anyone?

Love the garden! They can come over and weed anytime here!:)
Way to go kids! eating healthy is always a good thing. Harrison looks like he was caught doing something he shouldn't be doing (you can tell that he is full of it, just like my little Marshal) Your garden looks AWESOME and I bet it (the things in it) taste even better!
That is the best part of summer! I love eating the fresh veggies, way to go on yours! It looks like it's doing great!
That's awesome! Your kids are so fun, and I love how they help in the garden and then enjoy the food. There's nothing like fresh garden vegetables. Yum!
