This messy pile of blanket has been shaking for the past two hours.
Because of this. . .
Next thing I know Harrisen is trying to hide under the couch. He finally let me hold him as long as I completely covered him with a blanket from grandmas couch. Luckily we had one of our own in the car for him to use to get out the door and home. He stayed like this until well after we all fell asleep. Then a few hours later was in bed with me.
In the morning I asked him what his dream was about and he said "That thingy on aunt Cindy's wall ( a wooden mask that looked scary to him) had green glowing eyes."
Poor baby! Between the scary mask and the story from grandma it was more than he could take. Cowering under a blanket in the fetal position was the only way he knew to save him from the monsters that he just knew were out there waiting for him to poke his head out of the blanket.
And I thought my little boy was fearless.

Poor baby! Even worse, the monster was making flashes and when the blanket came off, it flashed right on him!
I know that monster...it's called pictures of myself!
Seriously, it's so sad how fast these little ones get scared.
Poor guy.
I agree about the clean eating thing. It takes WAY too much discipline and planning. If it can't be eaten or prepared on the run, I can't eat it. It sends me into a tailspin to try. I do my best. I am trying to work on one goal a week and see if I can ease into. Like, week 1 drink more water, week 2 eat less sweets. Maybe that way it will become habit. Who knows? I have had that plan all summer and haven't started yet, so probably not! :-) Don't tell Merilyn! She would be so disappointed.
Oh, what a poor little guy! He is so sweet!
So, I gotta know...Is he afraid of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory? Lana is terrified of that show. Just thinking about it just about sends her into the fetal position. Poor kids. It is so hard to know reality from fiction at that age.
I hope you enjoyed snuggling him! He is adorable!
