So today at dinner he was eating really slow and DH asked him if he was tired. He said "No, I'm not tired, I just have to take a little rest for a few minutes."
I guess he opted for a nap after all!
That position can't possibly be comfortable. He must be really tired.

I have one of Amelia doing that from the rocking chair to the footstool. I don't know how they do that.
That is so sweet. So, I gotta know...How long did you leave him like that, or did you just take the picture and then move him?
He is so stinkin' cute! I think every kid has to fall asleep in the kitchen, under the table, in a high chair, etc. at some point. Darling!
We left him sleeping like that for about 45 min, had it been earlier in the day I may have left him longer, or moved him and let him sleep. It's hard when they fall asleep at 6:30. they wont stay asleep all night, they are ornery if you wake them but they wont go to bed if you let them go to sleep.
Man, I wish that was OK for adults to just take little rests like that throughout the day. I wonder what it is that makes naps so bad when you're little, then so desired when you're older.
I think it is fun that they will fight the nap all day. But at some point their bodies just can't do it any longer. I know what you mean about the no nap thing. Londynn has not been doing naps for awhile now. CUTE!
